Our Work
SWAN (Skilled Workforce Advancing Nation) is a startup based in Delhi aiming to build capabilities of the workforce through it’s specially designed training programmes and counselling sessions to better employment opportunities. It aims at enhancing the skill sets of the youth coming from all the sections of the society.
The classroom learning module at SWAN is driven through student inquiry, interactive dialogues, industry exposure and cognitive empathy. These training sessions are created to enhance the overall awareness of the youth towards team work along with personal grooming and improvement in the skill sets.
Keeping in view the overall well being of the target groups in life. SWAN would be providing continuous mentor – mentee support to the youth gaining employment in addition to the post-placement assistance which would connect them with forthcoming opportunities so that they can do well in professional life.

Our Story
SWAN (Skilled Workforce Advancing Nation) Livelihood was established to kindle hope among the youth (age group 18-30 years) from the resource-poor sections of the society and later on expanded its operations through online training workshops for upskilling the youth and working professionals towards the competitive professional environment during the Covid situation. It is a start-up based in Delhi that lends a hand to the youth in gaining sustainable employment through skill development. It envisages bridging the gap between the acquired education and the demands of the industry and placing the successful candidates to suitable employment. SWAN seeks to impart knowledge as signified by the first name SWAN (Sacred Bird Hans in Hindi, scientific name Cygnus) i.e. linked to the reigning deity of education, Goddess Saraswati. The collective knowledge and wisdom of the promoters is utilised to bridge the aspirations of the youth and the requirements of the industry. The underlying thought behind the entire venture being to resolve the pain-point of the youth from the targeted sections of the society and train them for a harmonious and a fruitful relationship with the employers. Deep understanding of the pain points of the youth belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society as well as their employers led her to embark upon this startup.
